F.lli Scapin
APB60N Portable battery-operated model with (optional) battery backpack
The great news of 2014 for Scapin’s portable actuators line is the brand-new battery model APB60N, a modern portable device that is the result of the latest technical innovations. This new tool is powered by a Hitachi 1100W electrical engine and includes also an internal micro reducer with a maximum torque limiter. These new features guarantee a high RPM output, allowing to operate quickly on hydraulic valves, penstocks and sluice gates thanks to its 125 RPM/min, autonomously and in total safety.
In addition to higher Nm values rather than basic unit APB45N, the most important new feature of this product is the optional Hitachi 36V-750Wh battery backpack that can be coupled to APB60N on customer request. This combination guarantees interventions up to 8 times rather than the traditional 36V battery, offering to operators more autonomy on both emergency interventions on electric actuators and normal routine activities.
