To use portable valve actuators in full safety, gearbox reducers must be fitted with an anti-rotation flange, where the safety pin of APB/APS devices (along with the locking split pin) has to be inserted in.
Standard anti-rotation flanges are built to match with most common reducers, but it is also possible to study, upon request, even very complex solutions to make sure that the operators acts within the limits of the strictest safety criteria. According to the installation, these flanges can be built in iron, stainless steel or aluminium.
